This is all part of the Debian distribution. The only thing, you have to do is, to adjust src/xmule.make.in, xLibs/DynPrefs/DynPrefs.make.in and Makefile.in and configure it with ./configure --with-zlib=/usr/lib --prefix=/usr ...
