in xmule/src, run the command
$ grep HAVE_CRYPTOPP ClientCredits.h

You should get the result:
#if !HAVE_CRYPTOPP

If not, you have a faulty download and should try to get it again.

If you do have that line, then you have a real bug that needs to be fixed. If this is the case, the quickest way for you to personally solve it would be to install libcrypto++ (and libcrypto++-devel if your distribution has it) and then recompile xmule.
