Kry doesn't lie Razz

xMule lacks some basic big endian support, or I least it heavily did last time I checked. As older Macs are ppc based and so big endian, it won't work. I know there was some work starting to support that, but I don't think it was ever finished, or xMule would have more users on the Mac base I guess.

you know that there are other clients out there that support Mac, while you wait for xMule to support it, right?

Yes..i know
Actually i use aMule and aMule Adunanza..depending on ISP i'm using to connect
Anyway..i think aMule is slow (as the most of java apps..)..sometimes becomes unresponsive..that's why i hope xMule will be soon available for Mac Smile

aMule is not java, and uses the same language an multiplatform layer as xMule (C++ / wxWidgets) so it won't make much of a difference.
