| I am wondering what the best system setup stictly for the use of xmule is? I am looking to make this system purely for peer-to-peer use. What distro should I use? What sort of parts would you recommend for building the system? Let me know your thoughts! |

ubuntu
hands down.
I could even make you a custom ubuntu cd that would have xmule preloaded and ready to dwnload @ the kickstart to a usb drive or something.
i've done somethign similiar myself already  |

Every Linux distribution can be "good" with some work...
If uptime is your concern try Slackware, is rock solid
Ubuntu is nice but there is a little overhype about it...
